The ETP operates on the principle of a two-step process: Physico-Chemical treatment followed by Polishing Treatments. The physico-chemical treatment addresses the initial purification, and this is succeeded by polishing treatments such as Sand Filtration, Activated Charcoal treatment (Adsorption), Ozonisation (Chemical Oxidation), Ultra Filtration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO), and, if necessary, evaporation. This dual-stage approach ensures thorough and effective treatment of effluents, covering a range of physical and chemical processes to achieve optimal results.
